AliExpress says delivery is not available to your address

DELIVERY_NOT_AVAILABLE_TO_YOUR_ADDRESS

A product page shows a delivery date and a price, but a quote for the same product comes back as not available to your address. Both are true, and the difference is which variation was asked about.

Delivery is quoted per variation

AliExpress prices delivery against one specific variation going to one country. A product with forty sizes and colours has forty answers, and they are not all the same.

A variation that is sold out, or held in a warehouse that does not serve your country, answers with no delivery at all — which is a fact about that variation, not about the product.

Which variation is being asked about

The first variation in a product’s list is rarely the one the page shows you. Ask about the first one and a product whose only available size is further down looks undeliverable.

The stock figures are published alongside the variations, so the ones the supplier still has can be asked about first. eBay Lister orders them that way and tries several before giving up.

What to check

  • Is any variation actually in stock? A product with everything sold out will not quote at all
  • Does the page show a delivery date for the country you sell to, not the country you are browsing from?
  • Is it a Choice or local-warehouse item? Those are stocked per country and genuinely do not go everywhere
  • Try again in a few minutes — the refusal is sometimes momentary

When it is real

If every variation refuses and the page shows no delivery to your country either, the product does not go there. That is a reason to skip it rather than a problem to solve: a product you cannot get to your buyer is not a product.

Questions

The page says it delivers. Why does the quote disagree?
The page is showing a variation that delivers. The quote was asked about one that does not.
Does it mean the product is out of stock?
Often, for the variation asked about. Check the stock on each variation rather than the product as a whole.
Should I list it anyway and work delivery out later?
No. Delivery is part of your cost, and a product you cannot cost is a product you cannot price.
